Our mission at Jaguar, since the company was founded by Sir William Lyons in 1922, has been to create and build beautiful fast cars. Cars that bring the enjoyment and exhilaration of driving to life.
True to our heritage the very latest addition to the Jaguar portfolio – the all new Jaguar XF - stands deliberately and defiantly apart. It has the heart of a sports car and the looks of a grand tourer; the fusion of seductive style with power and performance. We've used the most luxurious materials and insisted on exquisite attention to every detail.
Creating exclusive, sophisticated and understated automobiles has always been a Jaguar hallmark. Ian Callum, Jaguar's design director, put it in this way: "You should always feel better when you get out of a Jaguar than when you first get into it."
Ian's design debut for Jaguar was the highly acclaimed XK sports car, revealed in 2005, closely followed by its high performance derivative the XKR in 2006.
